Mary Linda McBride
Mary Linda specializes in bringing mindfulness into workplace settings. She trained with the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, completing the SIY Engage program (mindfulness-based emotional intelligence tools for the workplace). She is also a qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher. MBSR was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine and is now offered in over 200 medical centers, hospitals, and universities around the world. Mary Linda is also a certified mindfulness teacher (advanced level) through the Engaged Mindfulness Institute - a rigorous training program focused on bringing mindfulness skills to under-resourced populations. Presently, she leads a team of volunteer yoga and mindfulness teachers offering classes at the North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women. Prior to founding Mindful Resolution, Mary Linda enjoyed a 20-year career in nonprofit management and taught nonprofit fund development at North Carolina State University.
A graduate of Georgetown University, Joe joined Mindful Resolution as Director of Client Services in March 2017 after six years working in the fast-paced recruiting and expert-network industries. Joe works to ensure that client satisfaction remains a top priority as we work with you to offer science-based tools for stress reduction in the workplace. In his spare time, Joe enjoys refereeing soccer. As an award-winning youth and adult soccer referee, Joe relies on his mindfulness practice to help him respond skillfully to the intense and emotional competitors (and sometimes their parents!)
