Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is the 8-week curriculum developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and his colleagues at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. MBSR is the specific intervention used in many of the studies documenting the effects of mindfulness.
