Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is the 8-week curriculum developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and his colleagues at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. MBSR is the specific intervention used in many of the studies documenting the effects of mindfulness.

Power of Compassion at the Summer Solstice Bazaar

June 21 is the official first day of summer! Join me at the Summer Solstice Bazaar for a free (donation based) mindfulness class.

I will be teaching two classes. The 10 AM class will cover the fundamentals. The 11 AM class focuses on the Power of Compassion.

Classes are donation based and proceeds will go to the Prison Mindfulness Institute. Following the second class, there will be a drawing for a free one-hour Mindfulness 101 talk for your business, book club, or faith community ($250 value).
