Mindfulness Tools for Well-Being

Mindfulness practices have been shown to reduce stress and promote well-being. As we all seek ways to better cope with stress, mindfulness has emerged as an effective tool.

Mindfulness has been linked to various mental health benefits, including reduced symptoms of depression and anxiety. In addition to its impact on mental well-being, mindfulness has been associated with various physical health benefits including improved sleep quality.

Using the acronym PACE - Pause, Attention, Connection, and Enjoyment - this presentation will offer specific strategies to build powerful practices that support well-being.

As always, your presentation was a perfect match for our team.
Your work set us up for a very productive day!

Attention Matters

In the information age, attention is an asset… and everyone is vying for it. Attention is bought and sold like any other commodity, and more and more we struggle to carve out the time and space to focus on the things that matter most.

How we manage attention makes a huge difference in our ability to engage in activities that create value, be present to the people in our lives, and quite literally, influences how happy we feel.

Mindfulness and meditation can help build the muscle and mental flexibility needed to direct and sustain attention. In this presentation, you will learn a basic meditation practice to help anchor the mind as well as specific ideas for weaving mindfulness practices into even your busiest days.

Our audience enjoyed Mary Lin’s practical advice. If you have a chance to work with her, jump at the opportunity. She’s fantastic!

Mindful Communication - Clarity, Compassion, & Connection

Mindful Communication skills offer a powerful tool for building “psychological safety” - the linchpin for effective teamwork.

For “message sent” to equal “message received”, we need to be fully present, exercising self-awareness and awareness of others.

In this presentation, we will identify the key components of mindful communication: presence, self-regulation, empathy, and generosity.

Participants will have the opportunity to practice mindful communication and discuss ways to bring more clarity and connection to both their professional and personal relationships.

(90-Minute Workshop)

This was an insightful venture into the practice of being patient, graceful, pausing, observing versus reacting and generous to yourself as well as others.
Highly recommend.
— Danny Rosin, CEO, Brand Fuel
